Privacy policy
What we collect
- Your Apple account identifier. When you sign in with Apple we receive an opaque identifier for your account. We don't ask for your name or email address.
- Usage and subscription status. How many free translations you've used, and whether you have an active subscription and when it renews.
Your speech and translations
When you start a translation, the app streams your microphone audio to our server, which relays it to OpenAI to be translated, and streams the translated speech and text back. We don't store your audio or transcripts. OpenAI processes the audio under its own terms and privacy policy (openai.com/policies/privacy-policy).
Payments
Subscriptions are bought through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details; we never see them. We receive a signed confirmation from Apple that a subscription is active.
Where data is stored
Your account identifier, free-translation count and subscription status are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which runs our server.
Deleting your data
Email us and we'll delete your account record. You can also stop Boloaudio using Sign in with Apple in Settings › Apple ID › Sign in with Apple.
